mixMotion created a customized interactive drawing activity for the Arts for Children and Youth (AFCY) organization in Toronto for their display at Nuit Blanche in Yonge and Dundas Square.

The project was part of a larger concept to have kids draw how they see Toronto. Thy were able to draw on a screen and see their creations appear on a large projection screen in the tent before their eyes. Young people were given a fun activity while also attracting attention to the booth, giving them a chance to express themselves creatively, interact with their friends, and take photos of themselves with their creations to share online. The photos were saved to be used for AFCY’s larger conceptual project afterwards, which was to create a cultural crest for the city of Toronto.
