mixMotion was pleased to VJ the Haitian earthquake fundraiser Haiti Je T’aime at Revival. Put on by REMG Entertainment featuring DJ sets by K-OS, Brendan Canning from Broken Social Scene, Eon from Bedouin Soundclash, Paul E Lopes, Starting From Scratch, Blk Btlz, hosted by MTV’s Nicole Holness and Aliya-Jasmine Sovani. mixMotion took the elements of the Haiti Je T’aime poster to create custom motion graphics for the show, which were then mixed live with video and photos provided by Plan Canada. The result was upbeat, graphically strong visuals which kept the party vibe in mind while presenting a message in a positive way. The night was a huge success, with a silent auction and various raffle prizes handed out throughout the night. Many thanks to everyone who came out to support!!
