The infamous hip hop DJ Skratch Bastid asked us to provide visual and creative inspiration for a night called Scratch, Scratch, Scratch . The night featured Skratch Bastid, Scratch (beatboxer from The Roots) and DJ Starting From Scratch. The DJs mixed on 4 turntables while Scratch beatboxed live on the mic with his effects unit.
This was the first show in an ongoing series that we are a part of – entitled SKRATCH BASTID PRESENTS. This will be a quarterly night based around mixing and matching musical styles and ideas while staying conscious of the party atmosphere.
